We are a B.B.Q. catering company with a passion to bring world-class B.B.Q. with a complex bold flavor profile to our clients. We only use the highest quality ingredients in all of the B.B.Q. meats, sauces, and rubs.  We’ve been serving up our food to our coworkers, friends, and families for years. With all the positive feedback and requests, we have decided to bring our passion for genuine comfort food to the public!

We’ve been perfecting our B.Q.Q. recipes for nearly 20 years, and have shared/tested them with friends and family. Once you try our B.B.Q. We are sure you’ll be back for more!

Darren Wakefield, The Pit Boss

Darren Wakefield, The Pit Boss

Spent previous 17 years working as Chemist, Darren worked his way up from Associate Chemist to Director of Macromolecular Chemistry, where he had a staff of close to 25 Chemists under his supervision, and over a 100 publication to his credit. When his place of employment had to downsize due to thier lead clinical drug candidate being pulled from phase two testing, it became the perfect time for him to pursue his passion for cooking, with the ultimate goal of opening a restaurant in the next 3 to 5 years.

Darren has developed several different flavors of B.B.Q. sauces and rubs. Four of the B.B.Q. sauces are currently available commercially, and being marketed to area stores and distributors.

He has over 20 years of experience operating B.B.Q. pits and grills, cooking for large and small groups multiple times throughout the year. He has a small but growing following of people who love his cooking and who have encouraged him to pursue his dreams.

Laurie has worked at UW Hospital for the last 16 years in the GI department. She has many years of experience in customer service, and previous experience in the food service industry in both the front and back of the house.
